The LiveLink Premium light management system ensures optimum quality of light and high energy efficiency through automatic or semi-automatic light control. It can be individually configured for needs-based operation of the lighting. The core hardware of the system consists of a LiveLink Premium server and one or more LiveLink Premium gateways, which interact with the LiveLink Premium server on an IP basis. For the periphery, in addition to push-button couplers for integrating operating buttons a wide range of sensors with different detection characteristics are also available to control the lighting.
The system can be operated via push-buttons and alternatively via a tablet PC in a graphical user interface, which is created in consultation with the customer on the basis of a project sketch, e.g. floor plan or schematic diagram. Furthermore, the LiveLink Premium system can communicate IP-based and provide data for systems such as KNX, BACnet and Modbus. The open interfaces of LiveLink Premium also form the basis of the TRILUX digital services and the LiveLink Cloud for monitoring, remote maintenance and many other functions.
The LiveLink Premium system is optionally available in the form of prefabricated packages – the Server Kits as a basic system and the Extension Kits for expanding the system. Server and Extension Kits are installed in a housing ready for connection. All components are already mounted and wired on a DIN rail. In addition to connecting the control cables (DALI bus) of the DALI lines to the gateways, only the power supply and, if necessary, a higher-level Ethernet need to be connected to the server.
Clever sensor technology enables daylight-dependent control and presence-based control, thus enabling high energy-saving potential. Automatic switch-off and an adjustable general light level also contribute to a sustainable lighting system.
With suitable luminaires, a change in colour temperature according to the time of day can simulate natural daylight in the building, improving performance and concentration. The HCL curve required for this is pre-installed.
LiveLink Premium is based on the combination of a network server with one or more DALI/Ethernet gateways. A gateway has connections for 2 DALI lines, each of which can be used to connect 64 DALI devices. Additional Ethernet switches can be cascaded so that installations with an unlimited number of DALI devices can be realised. In addition to the DALI luminaires, control and operating elements such as LiveLink DALI PB4 push-button couplers and LiveLink DALI sensors can also be connected. For the given installation, the server acts as a central control device that combines the DALI devices on the DALI lines of all gateways in a higher-level system. Depending on the performance of the server, an almost unlimited number of luminaires can be controlled.

LiveLink WiFi | LAN DR is also an IoT-based system for networking the luminaires and sensors with the LiveLink Cloud, forming the basis for digital services. The clear, intuitive LiveLink ONE app is for quick and easy configuration and operation of the extensive functions.
LiveLink WiFi | LAN DR only requires 5-core wiring to control luminaires. Sensors and push-buttons are integrated exclusively via DALI; an additional mains connection is not required. In the LiveLink ONE app, the lighting can be divided into luminaire groups and the assignment of sensors and push-buttons can be modified and adapted to the specific situations.
LiveLink WiFi | LAN DR is ready for operation and fully functional from the very first start. All system devices are automatically recognised and sensor functions such as motion detection and constant light control are preconfigured and active. The lighting can be switched and dimmed via connected push-buttons. If HCL-capable luminaires are present in the installation, the TRILUX HCL curve is also already activated. This means the system saves energy from the first time it is switched on and is ready to use by all users.
With suitable luminaires, a change in colour temperature according to the time of day can simulate natural daylight in the room and thus increase well-being, performance and concentration. The HCL curve needed for this is already pre-installed in LiveLink WiFi | LAN DR. The colour temperature can also be adjusted manually with the LiveLink ONE app.
The LiveLink ONE app opens up the whole world of light management with a single click. The entire system is automatically fully functional – and can then be easily adapted to the individual project using the app. Even complex lighting systems can be configured and controlled especially easily.
With the LiveLink ONE app, LiveLink WiFi | LAN DR can be set up for control across several rooms. This not only enables individual control of single rooms, groups and zones within the system, but also central control commands across all rooms. This optimised utilisation of the DALI line saves costs and optimises the commissioning time.

The Bluetooth®-enabled LiveLink SwarmSens is the perfect solution for making 1:1 lighting refurbishments smart in a simple way. Thanks to swarm networking of the luminaires, pre-running light and integrated HF sensor technology, the system not only offers high energy-saving potential but also orientation and safety. The LiveLink SwarmSens app makes configuration and operation simple and convenient.
LiveLink SwarmSens is a Bluetooth® LE-based system with integrated HF sensor technology. This enables smart 1:1 replacements of luminaires, especially in refurbishment projects. The luminaires are wirelessly networked with each other in a mesh network. By grouping the luminaires and the integrated HF sensors, a swarm mode can be created for functions such as pre-running light. The system distinguishes between transmitter luminaire (+DMM) with integrated sensor and radio module and receiver luminaire (+DMR) with radio module only in order to implement the commands. In addition to a threshold value function, the system also has general light.
The sensors integrated into the luminaires communicate with each other and, with the pre-running light, offer the ideal solution for stairwells, corridors, hallways or parking garages. At the same time, the swarm function ensures efficiency and high energy savings because it only provides light where needed.

The customised light management system for TRILUX desktop and standing luminaires is ideal for office applications. With features such as networking via Bluetooth®, integrated sensors and HCL lighting, the system can be flexibly adapted to any need. Configuration and operation are simple using the LiveLink Workplace app.
LiveLink Workplace is a Bluetooth® LE-based wireless system for networking TRILUX desktop and standing luminaires such as Bicult and Luceos S. The system of appropriately networked luminaires configures itself automatically via plug & play and features a high degree of flexibility in operation. Up to 20 luminaires can be connected to form a group in order to save energy through optimised lighting. Setup and operation is simple via the TRILUX Workplace app. Individual luminaires can also be controlled using the integrated push-buttons or a wireless push-button.
TRILUX desktop and standing luminaires with integrated LiveLink Workplace control can be wirelessly networked and grouped together. The required illuminance is distributed among the group devices. The networking option thus reduces the required lumen output of the individual luminaires while maintaining the same lighting level – this saves energy and also increases the service life of the luminaires.
The integrated sensor system controls the direct and indirect lighting components independently of each other. If the luminaires are networked with each other, when a person enters a room the general lighting can first be switched on via the indirect components before the individual workstation is illuminated: an example of how sustainable lighting concepts can be conveniently implemented with LiveLink Workplace.

By integrating Bluetooth® technology from our partner Casambi into the control gear, the networked hardware components communicate with each other and with compatible smartphones and tablet PCs via the Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) wireless standard. This means that the benefits of automated lighting can also be used in buildings with 3-core cabling.
TRILUX luminaires, sensors and operating units together form a mesh network and are both transmitters and receivers. The bidirectional network architecture guarantees robust radio connections and failure safety, even in rooms with niches and corners. A single network can comprise up to 250 devices, and any number of networks can be set up at one location.
Upgrading conventional lighting to an LED system with light management is possible by simply replacing the luminaires 1:1 – wirelessly and without interfering with the building fabric. It couldn’t be quicker.
After mounting, the luminaires are networked in just a few simple steps via the Casambi app. When the luminaires are put into operation for the first time, the Casambi app automatically creates a network and adds the luminaires to the network.
The TRILUX range of accessories includes Bluetooth®-compatible motion detectors for ceiling mounting. Wireless wall-mounted transmitters for manual light control can be installed anywhere without needing additional cabling. These system devices are also automatically recognised by the Casambi app.
If the networked luminaires are combined with sensors for presence detection and constant light control, high energy savings can be achieved. Refurbishing a conventional lighting system with LED technology and light management can reduce energy costs by up to 85%.
