Our New Plant in Poland

A look behind the scenes

On the 12th of September 2024, we celebrated the grand opening of our state-of-the-art facility in Poland with an inauguration ceremony. With the opening of our new plant in Świdnik, near Lublin, Poland, we’ve achieved a significant milestone in our growth and future strategy in a very short time, creating closer ties to our customers and partners in the important Central and Eastern European (CEE) market. What exactly lies behind this development, where is leading, and what role do our team and corporate culture play? We asked Plant Manager Piotr Mokrzan, Project Manager Stefan Renk, and General Manager CEE Arkadiusz Lewenko.

A workplace with atmosphere

The new plant was designed with a focus not only on efficiency and sustainability but, above all, on the needs of our employees. This vision is reflected in the high-quality lighting with Human Centric Lighting (HCL) as well as in the interior design and furnishing, which are based on the principles of New Work. In the production areas, our E-Line continuous-line system and the Mirona Fit high-bay luminaires provide both attractive and energy- efficient lighting. Meanwhile, in the office areas, solutions like the Parelia suspended luminaire, Arimo Fit recessed luminaire, and Finea light channel create a modern, welcoming work environment. The Tube suspended luminaire from Monolicht adds a striking accent to the entrance area. All the luminaires are networked via LiveLink and incorporate HCL to bring pleasant and natural light into the rooms.

Indoor and outdoor lighting in perfect harmony

In line with the New Work concept, the facility includes open spaces for collaborative work as well as rooms for focused tasks, video conferencing, and relaxation. This is complemented by a state-of-the-art canteen, where Lucid Globe wall luminaires from Monolicht and Much Moon suspended luminaires from TRILUX create a prestigious, modern, yet cosy atmosphere for communal breaks. The attractive outdoor areas offer seating and additional spaces to relax. And because we always plan holistically and beyond the building, we also designed the outdoor lighting. Here, ConStela modular columns and Jovie post-top luminaires illuminate the parking areas and pathways, while Lumena-Plus floodlights on the façade create an attractive lighting effect.
