Calculation example: Production hall at TRILUX in Arnsberg with approx. 2,000 m² with a previous inventory of 328 E-Line lights T8, 1 x 58W, VVG (21,648 W), which were replaced by E-Line Next Active lights, 6,000 lm, 39 W ( 12,792 W) were replaced. The new lighting system makes it possible, in the spirit of Human Centric Lighting (HCL), to adapt the color temperature to the course of the day of natural light (circadian course) and to set an increased lighting level if necessary.
The calculation shown here is based on 4,000 operating hours per year, with regulated operation of 500 lx. The maximum available illuminance of 880 lx can be accessed if required.

Why does a refurbishment with LED worthwhile?
Energy costs, lamp ban & sustainability
New rules due to lamp bans
Regulations on energy efficiency (Ecodesign Directive) and the use of mercury in light sources (RoHS Directive) make refurbishment with LED lights unavoidable in the long term. The following light sources may no longer be placed on the market from 2023:
No longer on sale from September 1, 2023
T8 linear fluorescent (2’, 4’ & 5’)
No longer on sale from February 1, 2024
Compact fluorescent (CFLni)
T5 linear fluorescent
T8 linear fluorescent (other lengths)
