Osido is a continuously expanding range of luminaires for the holistic illumination of outdoor areas around buildings. Osido wall luminaires in various shapes are the basis, followed up by ceiling luminaires, bollards and spotlights.
The quality of light and light effect are what count during the night, and the design during the day. Thanks to their minimalist, modern design and an intelligent housing concept without visible screws, the luminaires blend harmoniously into the overall picture, whether classic or modern architecture.
Osido has a standardised mounting plate for the square and round versions, as well as a mounting plate for all oval and rectangular designs. This simplifies the installation process and increases flexibility. If requirements or wishes change, suitable luminaire attachments can be fitted to the existing mounting plates.
Application-specific MLT optics direct the light only where it is wanted and needed. Thanks to this high-precision light control, the luminous intensity and uniformity required by standards is even achieved with wider spacing between light points. Available are direct and direct/indirect distribution luminaires with narrow or wide light distribution, as well as models with asymmetric distribution for path lighting.
It’s not a good feeling when the faces of passers-by stay in the dark. For this reason Osido wall luminaires are available with a module for illuminating faces on request. This guides the direct light components in such a way that not only the adjacent path is perfectly illuminated, but faces and their expressions can also be easily seen. This increases the feeling of security and well-being.
The smartness of Osido can be customised to the project. The luminaires are optionally available as switchable (ET) or dimmable (ETDD) versions or with Casambi (ETBLE+CAS). This achieves reduced energy consumption and more sustainability in outdoor areas.
The indirect component of the luminaires is an important design element for displaying facades. At the same time though, spill light emitted upwards should be avoided as far as possible to achieve sustainability. Osido wall luminaires also break new ground here: the LED PCB of the indirect component is angled inwards by 6°. This means the light is directed precisely onto the façade and spill light into the upper hemisphere is reduced.
In addition to the standard housing colour DB703, Osido is also available in numerous special colours on request.
Osido is economical and durable thanks to efficiency of >100 lm/W and a service life of up to 50,000 hours. The smart variant with light control also offers additional savings potential.

Thanks to its extensive variants (in terms of light distribution, lumen packages, light colours and designs), the Osido wall luminaire range can be perfectly adapted to individual lighting tasks. The high-performance MLT optics also offer high lighting design flexibility in terms of spacing and heights.
Thanks to plug & play, installation is child’s play for one person: after attaching the mounting plate, the electrical connection is established via a flying terminal using Click&Connect. The luminaire housing is then clipped in without tools.
The high efficiency and targeted, needs-orientated light guarantee consistently low operating costs. At the same time, the entire area around the building is perfectly illuminated and attractively displayed.
