At our office event "Space for Success" from the TRILUX Akademie in Arnsberg, experts from various areas shared their expertise on New Work concepts and new forms of working. "Mr. New Office" Samir Ayoub, a renowned speaker, author, CEO, and owner of the designfunktion Group, provided comprehensive insights into hybrid workspace design and interior design. We asked him: How should companies manage decreasing office space needs and employees who prefer not to give up working from home?
Surprisingly, despite the topic's high relevance, Ayoub noted that few companies have a comprehensive New Work strategy to fully exploit the potential of new workspaces and concepts. According to Ayoub, the concept is quite simple: "Rent only half the space but make it twice as cool." He also discussed the direction of this trend and the role of immersive technologies and new virtual meeting spaces in a brief interview.
