Light and safety at work

Lighting adapted to the working conditions is a basic requirement for accident prevention. Safety at work by extension also means health protection. This refers to the concept of health as defined by the World Health Organization which says that health is not only the absence of disease or infirmity, but a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. In this respect, occupational health and safety means more than mere accident prevention.
